Discover the enjoyment of visiting the hidden wonders of Alabama’s rich natural and cultural heritage. Experienced Museum naturalists guide participants to some of the most interesting and scenic places in our state to learn about archaeology, biology, ecology, geology and paleontology. The field trips are designed for students, adults, families and unaccompanied children at least 10 years old (or who have completed the 4th grade). The Museum furnishes transportation and most equipment. Check the website for departure and return times. All day trips cost $20 for Museum Members ($25 for non-members).
